 Keeping and breeding Panther Chameleons (Furcifer Pardalis) can be a very rewarding hobby. Panther chameleons are very beautiful animals and can be found with every color of the rainbow. Panther Chameleons come from Madagascar and its coastal islands. These animals can be found anywhere from sea level to 4,000 feet above sea level. Temperatures in there natural habitat range from the high of 90 degrees farenhieght to a low of 35 degrees farenhieght. They also come from differant locations of Madagascar, refered to as locals. The males from these locals have distinct colorations and are named after the nearest town. Nosy Be is a coastal island and the Panther Chameleons that are found there are called Nosy Be Panthers. They are usually differant shades of blue. As you look through our website you may find that you must have more than just one local. Be careful, you could end up with a whole house full like us. My wife and I love these animals and I'm sure you will too. They are not too difficult to keep as long as you follow the correct parameters.
